At the end of 1964 there was a great need for playgrounds 
in the Hoevenseveld district. 

Some volunteers consulted with the city council of Uden. Finally, they were allocated at Cuijkstraat 34.

In January 1965 the playground association was
officially established and then, they became a member of the Youth Interests
Pius X foundation. 

Nowadays, everyone can see at a glance what a beautiful playground is located in Uden. Furthermore, it is accessible to everyone.

The Playground “De Wiebert” is located in the middle of the Hoevenseveld district. It is a green oasis. 

The playground is every year under safety inspection by a recognized company. 

The playground association will ensure that the playground is a safe place. 

The original playground has been grown into a contemporary playground where everyone can spend a few hours during the week, from Mondays to Saturdays.

The playground is entirely run by volunteers. Volunteers who want to support the playground by supervising an hour a week are welcome.
